Musician or Programmer? I'm born in Genoa, Italy, in March 1978. I started playing at the age of 5 a little Bontempi organ... but seeing quite good results, mum and dad allowed me to play more seriously buying for me a real acoustic piano. My first music teachers have been then my father and Mrs. Wilma, who taught me classical music for several years.
	During the secondary school, my first bands: Civico51 (Rock Blues), Soul Key Band (12 musicians: three horns, three female singers, one man having great black voice, we played songs from Blues Brothers/Commitments). Then Trama (rock progressive), Rudymentali (cabaret). In the meanwhile I started university, studying computer science. There I learned C, C++, Java (my favourite language! With Java I made applet, graphical interfaces, 3D graphics using OpenGL), SQL, Matlab, HTML with Javascript, CSS e JSP, Visual Basic. During these years I increased my live music activities: I played keyboard and written arrangements on musicals such as Merlin the Rock Opera, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar). In that period I discovered how the computer can act as recording studio, great music instrument, sequencer e many other stuffs. In this page I try to give an idea of my favourites music genres and influences. The programmer and network administrator I'm a supporter of Fair Trade, I want peace in the world, I like who tries to bring peace everyday using his heart, not weapons. I think that computers too can build a better world, helping mankind to distribute resources according to justice. Then I'm a supporter of software freeware and/or open source. I'm a supporter of internet, where it helps destroying the digital divide that puts rich countries too far from countries with technological difficulties. I worked as a technician for IT technologies, learning ISDN EDSS1 e SS7, Voice over IP, installing e configuring telecommunication switches and gateways. Now I'm a technician and network administrator for small businesses. Then I'm creating private networks, workgroups, private domains, I install adsl connections, firewall, vpn... and so on. Music e present In May 2004 I married Cristina: wonderful wife, very kind and sweet. In June 2007 Alice arrives, our lovely daughter. Music is going on too: I play with 46° Parallelo (cover pop), Periplo (songs piano +voice +percussion +violin), Alibi Fulmine (swing and new lounge), Umore Variabile (pianobar), Controvento (duo piano+voice). I'm studying jazz too, with the great pianist Franco Ponzano and his school. Franco also made me aware of the importance of a good classical piano formation, even if I want to play jazz, contemporary or progressive rock. At the end of 2007 the italian label Interbeat Records released "Everyday's life", My first solo album.
